The bade is carbon steel with a factory edge and half tang. This replica is made for display purposes, and has a show quality finish. The Tsuba (guard) is aluminum and the Tsuka (handle) is cord wrapped with faux ray skin. The hardwood Saya (scabbard) has a glossy black piano finish with silver metal fittings. Accurate engravings are present on the Saya to reflect the nature of it’s sword maker and wielder.
